Lt. Governor Taylor Names Dorsey Insurance Department’s Chief Administrative Officer

Ohio Lieutenant Governor and Insurance Director Mary Taylor has named Tynesia
Dorsey as the Department's Chief Administrative Officer. Dorsey's duties include
overseeing the operations of the Fiscal, Human Resources, Information and
Technology, Consumer Affairs Divisions and the Ohio Senior Health Insurance
Information Program (OSHIIP).
Dorsey is a longtime State of Ohio employee who joined the Department of Insurance in 1998 after working at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections.

The Association of Ohio Life Insurance Companies ("AOLIC") was formed over 50 years ago and is the only statewide trade association representing life and health insurance companies doing business in Ohio. Through the AOLIC, member companies have a significant voice in the development of public policy in Ohio on many critical subjects. AOLIC member companies offer a variety of products, including life, health, disability and long-term care insurance, and annuity contracts. The AOLIC advocates on behalf of its members regarding legislation and regulations affecting all of these products, and on general business and insurance issues.
The AOLIC produces a variety of informational materials for its member companies, including summaries and timely reports on developments in the General Assembly and at the Insurance Department. The "members only" section of the homepage, access to which is available to AOLIC members by password, includes a directory of its memership, guidelines for the Association, and frequent updates regarding recent developments.
Membership in the AOLIC is open to any life insurance company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio.
